Start with how you will use it
Both motorcycles have a twin-cylinder base, but they aim at a different riding feel. The Interceptor is a classic road roadster. The Bear adds a scrambler character and a different build. So it is not just a choice of tank or colour.
Look at the actual numbers
In the attached catalogue snapshot, the Bear has a 830 mm seat and a 19-inch front wheel, while the Interceptor has a 820 mm seat and an eighteen-inch front wheel. Open the comparison and also watch the weight, engine and tank. For weight, take into account the definition and the specification of the particular model year.
Don't trade experience for a chart
A radar chart shows the proportions of selected technical values, not a winner. A higher number is not an advantage in every row. For one rider the riding position matters most, for another the way they use the bike every day.
Ride both
With the same gear and similar conditions you will notice the differences more easily. Ask about the response at slow speed, the reach to the handlebars and the comfort on the route you actually ride. This article is a buying guide, not an editorial road test.
